Pennsylvania Lottery’s Dec. 31 Millionaire Raffle Game Is Sold Out - More than $5 Million in Prizes Awaiting 6,000 Winners

Middletown – The final ticket for the Pennsylvania Lottery’s Dec. 31 Millionaire Raffle drawing was sold at 6:34 p.m. today at Blose’s Market, 7070 Route 309, New Tripoli, Lehigh County.

Sales for the 13th edition of Millionaire Raffle began on Nov. 18. All 500,000 Millionaire Raffle tickets sold out three days prior to the drawing, just as they did for the Jan. 1, 2011 drawing.

Winning Millionaire Raffle ticket numbers will be randomly selected at 6:59 p.m. on Dec. 31, when the Lottery’s live drawing show will televise the selection of four $1 million, top-prize raffle ticket numbers and four $100,000, second-prize raffle ticket numbers. The remaining 100 winning ticket numbers for prizes of $1,000 each and 5,892 winning ticket numbers for prizes of $100 each also will be selected, but will not be televised live due to time constraints.

For a complete list of winning numbers, players can check the Lottery’s website at www.palottery.com on Jan. 1. Players can also scan their tickets at any Lottery retailer to determine if they have a winner. Lottery officials remind Millionaire Raffle players to sign the back of each ticket and keep it in a safe place until the drawing.

Odds of winning a top or second-tier prize are 1-in-125,000 each; odds of winning a $1,000 prize are 1-in-5,000; and the odds of winning $100 are about 1-in-85.
