Two Tickets Split PA Lottery Cash 5 Jackpot of $500,000

Middletown – Two jackpot-winning Cash 5 tickets worth $250,000 each from the Tuesday, July 30, drawing were sold at the following locations:

• Windsor Inn Hot Wings Inc., 669 Washington Ave., Jermyn, Lackawanna County; and
• Sarnelli’s Market, 346 Route 711, Jones Mills, Westmoreland County.

Each ticket correctly matched all five balls, 02-07-11-22-33, to split a jackpot of $500,000 and win individual prizes of $250,000, less 25 percent federal withholding.

Each retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling a winning ticket.

Lottery officials cannot confirm the identities of the winners until the prizes are claimed and the tickets are validated. Cash 5 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

The Lottery encourages each holder of a winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at any of Lottery’s seven area offices or at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County.

Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at headquarters.

More than 67,400 other Cash 5 tickets won prizes of various amounts in the July 30 drawing.

In fiscal year 2011-12, the Pennsylvania Lottery awarded a total of nearly $123.6 million in prizes to winners in Lackawanna and Westmoreland counties. The Lottery also contributed nearly $63.4 million to programs that benefited older residents of those counties.
