Pennsylvania Lottery Extends The Wizard of Oz™ Second-Chance Game, Offers Extra $50,000 Prize

Middletown, PA – Due to the popularity of The Wizard of Oz™ instant game, the Pennsylvania Lottery has extended the game’s second-chance opportunity and added an extra $50,000 prize.

“This instant game has been a big hit with players since launching in March, so we decided to keep the fun going into the summer,” said Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko.

The original second-chance entry deadline is June 11, and the randomly-selected winner of the first $50,000 prize will be announced June 17.  All entries submitted for the first drawing will carry over into the newly-added second drawing, for which the entry deadline is Aug. 27.

Entrants also still have a chance to win an instant cash prize between $25 and $250 and an Entry Doubler with each successfully submitted non-winning ticket.

Entry for all second-chance opportunities must take place via the VIP Players Club at palottery.com or the official smartphone app. Mailed entries will be disqualified. Visit palottery.com for entry, prizes, rules, and drawing information.

Introduced on March 24, The Wizard of Oz™ is a $10 game that offers 10 top prizes of $300,000. Visit palottery.com for details on how to play the game, odds and official rules.
