PA Lottery Pays Out Extra-Large Prizes in Final Drawing of MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB

Middletown – The final drawing of the MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB™ multi-state lottery game on Dec. 26 resulted in the award of extra-large prizes for winners across Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania Lottery proportionately adjusted the various prize-tier payouts for the final drawing because the Top Prize was not won. This means winners in the final drawing received a larger prize than they would have in a regular drawing.

As a result, a winning MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB ticket that would normally be worth $20,000 was instead worth $97,253 for the Dec. 26 drawing. A winning ticket that would normally be worth $5 was worth $97.50.

The adjusted payout structure for Dec. 26 was as follows, including the actual payout compared with the payout for a normal drawing:

• 1 player matched 4 of 5 and the Property Number, receiving $97,253 (normally $20,000).
• 6 players matched 4 of 5, each receiving $9,191 (normally $500).
• 6 players matched 3 of 5 and the Property Number, each receiving $7,653.50 (normally $250).
• 152 players matched 2 of 5 and the Property Number, each receiving $463.50 (normally $25).
• 265 players matched 3 of 5, each receiving $382.50 (normally $20).
• 847 players matched 1 of 5 and the Property Number, each receiving $183.50 (normally $10).
• 1,375 players matched the Property Number, each receiving $135.50 (normally $7).
• 3,905 players matched 2 of 5, each receiving $97.50 (normally $5).

In all, 6,557 MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB tickets won prizes totaling $1,092,609 in the final drawing.

Participating states ended sales of this game on Dec. 26 because it did not perform to expectations. It was launched on Oct. 19 by 23 lotteries.
