Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® Ticket Worth $150,000 Sold in Lancaster County

4/13/2020
Middletown, PA – A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Lancaster County sold a Powerball® with Power Play® ticket worth $150,000 for the Saturday, April 11 drawing.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 22-29-30-42-47, and the red Powerball 17, to win $150,000, less applicable withholding. Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $50,000. The Power Play multiplier drawn was three.

Turkey Hill, 301 Linden St., Columbia, earns a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back of the ticket and contact the nearest Lottery office.

More than 15,500 other PA Lottery Powerball® tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 4,800 tickets purchased with Power Play®. Players should check every ticket, every time.

The Powerball® jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $22 million, or $17.7 million cash, for the next drawing on Wednesday, April 15.

On April 2, The Powerball Product Group announced its decision to determine Powerball’s advertised jackpot based on game sales and interest rates citing that the changes are necessary to ensure that ticket sales can support the Powerball® jackpot and other lower-tier cash prizes.

The Pennsylvania Lottery’s Powerball® Rules have been updated to allow the Multi-State Lottery Association Powerball Product Group to increase, decrease or eliminate guaranteed minimum prizes. Visit palottery.com to learn how to play Powerball.
