Mega Millions® Ticket Worth $2 Million Sold in Philadelphia

7/6/2020
Middletown, PA – A Philadelphia beer distributor sold a winning Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions® with Megaplier® ticket worth $2 million for the Friday, July 3, drawing.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 20-40-44-45-50, but not the yellow Mega Ball 24, to win $2 million, less applicable withholding. It was sold with the $1 Megaplier option, which boosted the prize to $2 million instead of $1 million, because the multiplier drawn was two.

Beer Express, 11730 Bustleton Ave., Philadelphia, earns a $10,000 selling bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners can be identified only after prizes are claimed and tickets validated. The ticket holder should sign the ticket, call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office. Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions® prizes expire one year from the drawing date.

More than 14,300 other PA Lottery Mega Millions® tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 4,000 tickets purchased with Megaplier®. To learn how to play Mega Millions® with the Megaplier® click here. Players should check every ticket, every time.

There was no jackpot-winning ticket sold for the July 3 Mega Millions® drawing, which boosted the jackpot to a $73 million annuity value, or $57.2 million cash. The next Mega Millions® drawing will be held Tuesday, July 7.

Mega Millions® is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Visit palottery.com for details on how to play.
