“With this jackpot rolling, it’s creating a lot of buzz, plus offering up the opportunity to dream big,” said Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko. “In Pennsylvania, tickets are selling at more than $4,000 each minute and that’s also exciting for our older population, who benefits from proceeds generated by game sales like these.”

In Pennsylvania the recent jackpot run has generated more than $66.7 million in sales, creating a profit of more than $26.6 million to benefit older Pennsylvanians.

The Powerball® jackpot was last won on Nov. 19, 2022, by a single ticket in Kansas that won a grand prize worth $92.9 million. The last time a Powerball® jackpot was won in Pennsylvania was on August 3, 2022.
As the jackpot rolled over the weekend, it created smaller winners in Pennsylvania where three Powerball® winning tickets totaling $1.2 million were sold for the Saturday, February 4 drawing. This included one prize worth $1 million sold in Montgomery County, and two other prizes worth $100,000 each sold in Lawrence and Cambria counties.

Congratulations to the retailer who earned a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket worth $1 million, and to the retailers who each earned a $500 bonus for selling the tickets worth $100,000:

• East Roadrunner, 199 Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County ($5,000),
• Cascade Express, 1302 Moravia St., New Castle, Lawrence County ($500); and
• Sheetz, 4375 Admiral Perry Highway, Ebensburg, Cambria County($500).

 
The winning ticket worth $1 million matched five of the five white balls drawn, 2-8-15-19-58, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.
 
The winning $100,000 Powerball® with Power Play® tickets each matched four of the five white balls drawn, 2-8-15-19-58, and the red Powerball® 10 to win $100,000, less applicable withholding. Without the $1 Power Play® option, the tickets would have been worth $50,000 each. The Power Play® multiplier drawn was two.
 
More than 123,100 other PA Lottery Powerball® tickets won prizes of various amounts in Saturday’s drawing, including more than 26,800 tickets purchased with Power Play® and more than 10,500 tickets purchased with Double Play®. Players should check every ticket, every time.
  
If there is no Powerball® winner in tonight’s drawing, the jackpot for the Wednesday, February 8 drawing will be an estimated $805 million, or $434.4 million cash.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed, and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed.
