Local Services, Senior Centers & Meals

Pennsylvania's 52 Area Agencies on Aging, or AAAs, cover all 67 counties and serve as the local representatives for the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.

In 2014-15, the Lottery contributed nearly $300 million to Area Agencies on Aging across Pennsylvania.

Among other services, these funds helped to provide 8.7 million meals served at senior centers and delivered to seniors’ homes. Lottery funds helped provide more than 23,700 meals for older Pennsylvanians, every day.
