Q: What is Cash 5 with Quick Cash?

A: Cash 5 with Quick Cash is the same Cash 5 game you’ve always loved, now with set Evening drawing prizes and a chance to also win cash instantly in the new Quick Cash game!

Q: Is the matrix for the main Cash 5 game changing?

A: No, you will still select five numbers from 1 to 43. Or, if you’d like, choose the Quick Pick option to have the computer randomly select your numbers for you. The Lottery will draw the winning numbers during the live TV Evening drawing every night at 6:59 p.m. on your local station.

Q: How much does it cost to play Cash 5 with Quick Cash?

A: The new cost is $2 per play and every $2 play includes the main Cash 5 game Evening drawing numbers and one Quick Cash game.

Q: Do I have to play the Quick Cash game when I buy Cash 5?

A: Yes, the corresponding number of Quick Cash game(s) will automatically print, depending on the total purchase price, and offers a chance to play and win instantly!

Q: How will my purchase look?

A: The main Cash 5 game plays will print on a ticket, like always. The Quick Cash game(s) will follow the main Cash 5 game play ticket on a separate ticket. Up to five Quick Cash games will print on one ticket, depending on the total purchase price.

$2 Purchase Example: If one play and one draw are selected, the total cost is $2. One Quick Cash game will print after the main Cash 5 game play ticket. This purchase will result in two separate pieces of paper.

$12 Purchase Example: If three plays and two consecutive drawings are selected, the total cost is $12. Six Quick Cash games will print after the main Cash 5 game play ticket (five on one ticket and one on another ticket). This purchase will result in three separate pieces of paper.

Q: How do you play the Quick Cash game portion of Cash 5 with Quick Cash?

A: If you have played any of our Fast Play games, you’ll notice the similarity between some of those games and the Quick Cash game. When any of YOUR NUMBERS match any WINNING NUMBER in the same GAME, win PRIZE shown for that GAME. Each GAME is played separately.

Q: How are the numbers selected for the Quick Cash game portion of Cash 5 with Quick Cash?

A: When a Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket is purchased, the terminal will randomly select five WINNING NUMBERS and five YOUR NUMBERS for the Quick Cash game. The numbers are played separately from either the player-selected or Quick Pick-selected main Cash 5 game Evening drawing numbers.

Q: What are the prizes and chance of winning in the Quick Cash game of Cash 5 with Quick Cash?

A: Each Quick Cash game offers a chance to win $2 or $6 instantly! The overall chances of winning in a Quick Cash game are 1 in 4.71. The chances of winning are separate from the main Cash 5 game.

A: Yes, the Evening drawing prize tiers below the jackpot are now set prizes rather than dependent on sales and number of winners. The new prize amounts and chances of winning are as follows:

Q: Can a Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket win on both the main Cash 5 game and the Quick Cash game(s)?

A: Yes, you now have and chance to win a cash prize instantly and a prize from the numbers drawn during the Evening drawing. Remember, both are played separately.

Q: Do I have to wait until after the drawing to cash my winnings from the Quick Cash game(s)?

A: No, if you won either a $2 or $6 prize on any Quick Cash game, you may claim the prize on that game and keep the original main Cash 5 game ticket for the Evening drawing.

Q: Will my old playslips still work for the new Cash 5 with Quick Cash?

A: No, you must replace your old playslips as they will not work as of March 23, 2021. New playslips are available at all retailers. The new playslips have a new layout to pick the Evening drawing numbers on the front and a full description of the new game feature on the back.

Q:  How long do I have to claim my Cash 5 with Quick Cash prize?

A: A main Cash 5 game prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date. Any prizes won in the Quick Cash game(s) must be claimed within one year of the purchase date.

Q: Can a Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket be canceled if a mistake is made?

A: As with all other terminal-based games offered by the Pennsylvania Lottery, Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets may not be canceled. Please use a playslip to ensure the accuracy of your ticket purchase.

Q: Can I buy Cash 5 with Quick Cash for future draws?

A: Yes, as has always been the case with Cash 5, now when purchasing a Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket, you can select the number of future draws you wish to play, if any. You can play up to seven (7) days in advance. The corresponding number of Quick Cash games, depending on price, will print accordingly.

Example: If one play and two future draws are selected, the total cost is $4. Two Quick Cash games will print after the main Cash 5 game ticket.

Q: Is the REPLAY feature available on Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets?

A: Yes, REPLAY is a fast and easy way for players to replay the numbers on an existing ticket starting with the next draw. If you purchased a Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket and choose to REPLAY that ticket, the main Cash 5 game ticket and same number of Quick Cash games will also print according to the new ticket you purchase.
