What is the Ticket Checker? Ticket Checker is a feature in the PA Lottery Official App which gives players the ability to scan the barcode found in the bottom corners of their Draw Game, Fast Play, Keno and Xpress Sports tickets, and under the “Scratch to Cash” area on Scratch-Offs to see if the ticket is a winner. On Scratch-Offs, ticket numbers may also be manually entered to get results. If a scanned ticket is a non-winner and is eligible for entry into a Second-Chance drawing, players will be able to enter it directly into the Second-Chance drawing. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the Ticket Checker results. However, all tickets should be verified by a PA Lottery Retailer or at a PA Lottery Office to determine if they are entitled to a prize.
When can Ticket Checker be used? The Ticket Checker can be used from 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. daily. It is “off” from midnight until 5:59 a.m. for system updates.
3 Point your phone’s camera at either large corner barcode. Use whichever barcode is clearer from the red printing.
4 Before scanning Scratch-Offs, be sure the black barcode pattern is completely visible and all scratchable covering is gone.
