PA Lottery Funds Low-Cost Prescription Drug Assistance – Every Day!
Did you know that the Pennsylvania Lottery provides funding for low-cost prescription medications for Pennsylvania’s older residents? PACE and PACENET are Pennsylvania’s low-cost prescription drug programs for older adults that receive vital funding from the Pennsylvania Lottery.
In the 2009-10 fiscal year, the Pennsylvania Lottery Lottery contributions to these low-cost prescription drug programs totaled $210 million. PACE and PACENET recipients across the state received more than 11.7 million prescriptions, and on average Lottery funding helped to provide more than 32,000 prescriptions to older Pennsylvanians, every day!
