won $1 million playing Powerball for her first time – and with a ticket she very nearly didn’t buy. The Altoona woman was one of the three Pennsylvania second-tier prize winners from the record-setting Powerball drawing on Nov. 28, 2012. “I just wanted to play scratch-offs, but (friends) convinced me to pick up five Powerball tickets,” Skylar said.
