Powerball
It's always a big Jackpot.
The Powerball jackpot starts at $20 million and gets bigger and bigger until somebody wins. Powerball tickets are sold only as graduated annuity tickets, which means increasing annual cash payments over 29 years (30 payments). Jackpot winners can elect (within 60 days) to take the present cash value of the jackpot amount in one lump-sum payment. Aside from the big jackpot, players can win money eight other fun-filled ways. Remember, cut-off time for purchase of a Powerball ticket is 9:59 p.m. on drawing days (Wednesday and Saturday).
