Four New Instant Games Join Pennsylvania Lottery’s Lineup - More than $74 Million in Total Cash Prizes Available

Middletown – April 21, 2011 - Four new Pennsylvania Lottery instant games go on sale Tuesday, April 26: 7UP™, Pure Gold, Lucky Cherry Slots and Gus Bucks.

A new $2 ticket, 7UP, offers 15 top prizes of $17,000 and nearly $8 million in total cash prizes. Players can win up to eight times on each ticket. When any of YOUR NUMBERS match either WINNING NUMBER, win the prize shown to the right of the matching number. Reveal a “GREEN 7” (GREEN7) symbol, win seven times the prize shown to the right of that number. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-4.57.

In addition, players can use their non-winning 7UP tickets to enter for a chance to win up to $700 cash in bonus promotional drawings. To enter, players can register and log in at www.palottery.com/vipplayersclub and click on the 7UP bonus promotional link. The Pennsylvania Lottery will hold four separate drawings, with a June 2 entry deadline for the first drawing. Pure Gold is the Lottery’s newest $10 game, and it offers 10 top prizes of $240,000, 50 prizes of $24,000 and more than $42 million in total cash prizes. Players have 15 chances to win on each ticket. When any of YOUR NUMBERS match any of the WINNING NUMBERS, win the prize shown under the matching number. Get a “GOLD RING” (GLDRING) symbol, win double the prize shown under it. Get a “10X” (10 TIMES) symbol, win 10 times the prize shown under it. Get a “24K” (WIN24K) symbol, win $24,000 instantly. Reveal a “GOLD BAR” (GOLDBAR) symbol in the Fast Cash Bonus section, win the prize shown to the right of it. The overall odds of winning a Pure Gold prize are 1-in-3.66.

The newest $5 game from the Pennsylvania Lottery, Lucky Cherry Slots, offers 10 top prizes of $100,000, more than $2.5 million in prizes from $100 to $1,000 and more than $20 million in total cash prizes. Players have 12 chances to win on each ticket. Reveal three like symbols in the same spin, win the prize shown to the right of that spin. Reveal a “BILL” (BILL) symbol, win the prize shown to the right of that spin automatically. Reveal three “CHERRY” (CHERRY) symbols in the same spin, win three times the prize shown to the right of that spin. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-4.19.

Gus Bucks – named in honor of the second-most-famous groundhog in Pennsylvania – is a $1 ticket with 33 top prizes of $1,000, more than 139,000 prizes from $10 to $100 and more than $4 million in total cash prizes. Reveal three “GUS” (GUS) symbols in a row, column or diagonal, win the prize shown by the arrow pointing to that win. Reveal a “PAW PRINT” (PAWPRNT) symbol in the tic-tac-toe play area and win $10 automatically. The overall odds of winning a Gus Bucks prize are 1-in-4.74.
