Pennsylvania Lottery Offers Six New Holiday Instant Games

Middletown – Six new Pennsylvania Lottery holiday instant games are now on sale: Merry Millions, Trim The Tree, Fro$ty Ca$h, Snowball Bucks, Sweet Winnings and Stocking Stuffer Doubler.

The Lottery also has brought back its $100,000 Jolly Jackpot Second-Chance Drawing promotion, which gives players a second chance to win with any of the six new holiday instant games. Entries are accepted only online.

“Instant game tickets make a great gift idea or greeting card accompaniment for anyone over age 18,” said Lottery Director Todd Rucci. “We’re glad to bring back our popular holiday instant games; they’re always a welcome sign of the season at the Pennsylvania Lottery and at our retail partners statewide.”

Merry Millions, a $20 game, offers five top prizes of $1 million and players can win up to 20 times on each ticket. When any of YOUR NUMBERS match any WINNING NUMBER, win the prize shown under the matching number. Reveal a "JINGLE BELL" (JINGLE) symbol and win the prize shown under it automatically. Reveal a "GIFT" (WIN250) symbol and win $250 instantly. Reveal a "MERRY" (MERRY) symbol and win all 20 prizes shown. The overall odds of winning in Merry Millions are 1-in-3.11.

Trim The Tree is a $10 game offering players 10 top prizes of $300,000. Players can win up to 20 times on each ticket. Reveal a "SANTA" (SANTA) symbol and win the prize shown under that symbol. Reveal a "STAR" (STAR) symbol and win 10 TIMES the prize shown under it. Reveal a "LIGHTS" (LIGHTS) symbol and win $50 automatically. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-3.23.

Fro$ty Ca$h, a $5 game, offers 16 top prizes of $100,000 and players can win up to 15 times on each ticket. Reveal a "TOP HAT" (TOPHT) symbol and win the prize shown under that symbol. Reveal a "SCARF" (SCARF) symbol and win ALL 15 PRIZES shown. The overall odds of winning a Fro$ty Ca$h prize are 1-in-4.20.

Snowball Bucks, a $3 game, offers 10 top prizes of $50,000 and more than $14.5 million in total cash prizes. Scratch the WINNING NUMBERS. Then scratch the corresponding numbers when they appear in GAMES 1-3. When you completely match all of the numbers in any GAME, apply that GAMES's multiplier to the PRIZE shown for that GAME and win that amount. GAME 1 PRIZE is not multiplied. Each GAME played separately. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-4.43.

The new $2 game is Sweet Winnings, which offers 10 top prizes of $25,000 and players can win up to 10 times on each ticket. Each ticket is additionally printed with a “scratch and sniff” gingerbread-scented ink. The overall odds of winning a prize in Sweet Winnings are 1-in-4.60.

Stocking Stuffer Doubler is a $1 game featuring 168 top prizes of $1,000. Get three like amounts and win that amount. Get two like amounts and a "DOUBLE CANDY CANE" (DBLCANE) symbol and win DOUBLE that amount. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.77.

Members of the Pennsylvania Lottery’s online VIP Players Club members can enter the $100,000 Jolly Jackpot Second-Chance Drawings with any non-winning tickets from the six 2012 holiday games. The Early Bird Drawing will offer 10 prizes of $10,000, and entries will carry over to the Grand Prize drawing. The Early Bird deadline is Monday, Nov. 26. Winners will be announced Saturday, Dec. 1. The Grand Prize drawing will offer one prize of $100,000. The entry deadline is Wednesday, Jan. 2, with winners announced on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013.
