PA Lottery Surprises Big 4 Players with Oct. 20 Mid-day Double Draw

Middletown – A surprise Double Draw was held for the Pennsylvania Lottery’s mid-day Big 4 game on Saturday, Oct. 20. A total of 605 winners received $115,700 for the two draws.

The Oct. 20 mid-day Big 4 winning numbers were: 6-4-1-7. The mid-day Big 4 Double Draw winning numbers were: 5-4-7-8.

Double Draw is a surprise second drawing for The Daily Number, BIG 4 or Quinto mid-day or evening drawings. Double Draws are not publicized in advance, but are announced when the regular drawing is conducted – meaning it could be any day.

The Pennsylvania Lottery automatically pays winners on a double drawing, just like a regular winning ticket. Prizes may be claimed by presenting a winning ticket at any licensed Pennsylvania Lottery retail location or at any of the Lottery’s seven regional offices.

Winning numbers for all games are posted at palottery.com.

How to Play Big 4: Big 4 is a four-digit numbers game. Players may bet $.50, $1, $2, $3, $4, $5 per play. Players may choose, or allow the Lottery terminal to randomly quick-pick, any four-digit number. Numbers can be played straight or boxed. A straight bet pays 5,000-to-1. Other payouts vary based on the type of bet placed.

About the Pennsylvania Lottery: The Pennsylvania Lottery remains the only state lottery that designates all its proceeds to programs that benefit older residents. Since its inception in 1971, the Pennsylvania Lottery has contributed more than $22.6 billion to programs that include property tax and rent rebates; free transit and reduced-fare shared rides; the low-cost prescription drug programs PACE and PACENET; long-term living services; and the 52 Area Agencies on Aging, including full- and part-time senior centers throughout the state.

The Pennsylvania Lottery reminds its players to play responsibly. Players must be 18 or older.
