Pennsylvania Lottery Launches Six New Holiday Instant Games

Middletown – Six new Pennsylvania Lottery holiday instant games are now on sale: $1,000,000 Peppermint Payout, Freezin’ Greetings, Holiday Gifts, Merry & Bright, Secret Santa and Cookie Dough. Plus, all six games offer VIP Players Club members a second chance to win through the $100,000 Holiday Cheer Second-Chance Game.

When any of YOUR NUMBERS match any WINNING NUMBER, win the prize shown under the matching number.  Reveal a "CANDY CANE" (CNDYCNE) symbol and win the prize shown under it automatically.  Reveal a "PAYOUT" (WINALL) symbol, win all 20 prizes shown. DOUBLE BONUS PLAY: When the DOUBLE BONUS PLAY number matches any YOUR NUMBER, win DOUBLE the prize shown under the matching number. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-3.22.

Freezin’ Greetings is a $10 game that features ten top prizes of $300,000.  Players have the chance to win up to five times their prize on each ticket. When any of YOUR NUMBERS match any WINNING NUMBER, win the prize shown under the matching number. When matching numbers are BLUE, win 5 TIMES the prize shown under the matching number. Reveal an "IGLOO" (IGLOO) symbol, win the prize shown under it automatically. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-3.20.

Holiday Gifts is a $5 game that features ten top prizes of $100,000. Players can win up to 15 times on each ticket. Reveal a "MONEY" (MONEY) symbol and win the prize shown under that symbol.  Reveal a "SANTA HAT" (WIN100) symbol, win $100 instantly! Reveal a "HOLIDAY" (WINALL) symbol, win all 15 prizes shown.  The overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-4.33.

Merry & Bright, a $3 game, offers 15 top prizes of $50,000, and over $17 million in cash prizes. Scratch the WINNING SYMBOLS area.  Then scratch the corresponding symbols found on either grid. When you match all four symbols in any horizontal or vertical line, win the PRIZE shown for that LINE.  Each LINE is played separately. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-4.22.

VIP Players Club members can submit any non-winning 2014 holiday-themed ticket into the Holiday Cheer Second-Chance Game. The number of entries into the $100,000 Grand Prize Drawing is equal to the purchase price of the ticket. Each time you play the Game, you could also win an instant cash prize between $25 and $500, or a chance to double your entries with an Entry Doubler Prize.

The entry deadline for the $100,000 Grand Prize is Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 (11:59 p.m. Eastern). The $100,000 winner will be announced on the live, televised evening drawing show on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015.
