Millionaire Raffle Drawing is One Month Away - Game Offers Pennsylvania Lottery’s Best Odds of Winning a $1 Million Prize

Middletown – One month from today, the Pennsylvania Lottery’s Millionaire Raffle drawing will mint four new millionaires. Players are reminded not to wait to buy a ticket for this limited-edition game.

Millionaire Raffle, which offers the Pennsylvania Lottery’s best odds of winning a $1 million prize, features 6,000 cash prizes totaling more than $5 million. The game’s prize levels are:

• Four prizes of $1 million
• Four prizes of $100,000
• 100 prizes of $1,000
• 5,892 prizes of $100

Each $20 ticket offers a 1-in-125,000 chance of winning one of the $1 million top prizes. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1-in-83.33.

“Tickets for this edition of Millionaire Raffle are only available until 5 p.m. on the drawing date, Jan. 3, or until sold out,” said Lottery Executive Director Sil Lutkewitte. “Players should be aware that ticket sales typically accelerate as the drawing date approaches.”

Players should immediately sign the back of their tickets and store them in a safe place until the drawing. If giving tickets as gifts, please remember that Lottery players must be 18 or older.

Each Millionaire Raffle ticket features a unique, eight-digit number issued sequentially as tickets are sold across the state. The first ticket sold is number 00000001, and the final ticket sold is number 00500000.

To be considered a winning ticket, the number on a Millionaire Raffle ticket must exactly match a winning number selected in the drawing, and all digits must appear in the same sequence as the winning number.

Winning Millionaire Raffle numbers will be randomly selected on Jan. 3. The Lottery’s live drawing show at 6:59 p.m. will televise the selection of four $1 million, top-prize ticket numbers and four $100,000, second-prize ticket numbers.

The remaining 100 winning numbers for prizes of $1,000 each and 5,892 winning numbers for prizes of $100 each also will be selected, but will not be televised live due to time constraints. In total, 6,000 prizes worth $5,089,200 will be awarded.

Players may visit www.palottery.com after the drawing to review a list of winning numbers. Players may also check Millionaire Raffle tickets at Pennsylvania Lottery retailers.

For the convenience of players who pool their ticket purchases with others, Millionaire Raffle Pool Play forms are available on www.palottery.com.

This is the 19th edition of Millionaire Raffle. Since its launch in 2005, Millionaire Raffle has awarded a total of more than $96.5 million in prizes and created 76 millionaires.
