Over $13 Million in Cash4Life Prizes Won Across Pennsylvania
Middletown, PA – Congratulations to the millions of Cash4Life™ winners across Pennsylvania who claimed more than $13 million in prizes during the game’s first year of sales in the state.
The Pennsylvania Lottery launched ticket sales for the multi-state game in April 2015. The $2 terminal-based game offers a top prize of $1,000 a day for life and a second prize of $1,000 a week for life. Drawings are held each Monday and Thursday at 9 p.m.
During the past year, two Pennsylvania Lottery Cash4Life players won second-tier prizes of $1,000 a week for life. Those winning tickets were sold by Price Chopper, 4547 Milford Road, East Stroudsburg, for the September 14, 2015, drawing; and by Wawa, 706 E. Gay St., West Chester, for the February 18, 2016, drawing.
To play Cash4Life, players choose five numbers from 1-60 and one number from 1-4, the green Cash Ball. Players may choose their own numbers or select Quick Pick.
To win the top prize, players must exactly match all five numbers drawn and the Cash Ball number. The top-prize annuity is paid in lifetime installments of $365,000 a year or a one-time payment of $7 million, less applicable taxes.
To win the second prize, players must exactly match all five numbers drawn but not the Cash Ball number. The second-prize annuity is paid in lifetime installments of $52,000 a year or a one-time payment of $1 million, less applicable taxes.
Other Cash4Life prize levels range from $2 to $2,500. Cash4Life may be played up to 10 consecutive drawings in advance.
Cash4Life is currently played in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and Tennessee. All prizes must be claimed in the state where the winning ticket was sold.
