Only Limited Time to Play First St. Patrick’s Day Millionaire Raffle

Middletown, PA – Only limited time remains to play the Pennsylvania Lottery’s first St. Patrick’s Day Millionaire Raffle, to be drawn the evening of Saturday, March 19. This limited-edition game, offering the Pennsylvania Lottery’s best chances of winning a $1 million prize, will award 6,000 cash prizes totaling more than $5 million.

“All prizes will be awarded, no matter how many tickets are sold,” said Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko. “Our past Millionaire Raffle drawings have created more than 90 millionaires across Pennsylvania.”

As a bonus, VIP Players Club members can enter all 2016 St. Patrick’s Day Millionaire Raffle tickets into the Lots O’ Cash Second-Chance Drawing. The entry deadline is 11:59:59 p.m. on March 24, 2016. Find prize details, rules and enter online only at palottery.com or via the official smartphone app.

Only 500,000 Millionaire Raffle tickets are available and will be sold until 8 p.m. on the drawing date, March 19, or until sold out. If all available tickets are sold, each $20 ticket offers a 1 in 125,000 chance of winning one of the $1 million top prizes. The overall chances of winning any prize are 1 in 83.33. The game’s prize levels are:
  • Four prizes of $1 million
  • Four prizes of $100,000
  • 100 prizes of $1,000
  • 5,892 prizes of $100

Winning numbers are randomly selected from among ticket numbers sold.

Each ticket features a unique, eight-digit number issued sequentially as tickets are sold across the state. The first ticket sold was number 00000001 and the final one available is 00500000.

To be considered a winning ticket, the number on the ticket must exactly match a winning number selected in the drawing, with all digits in the same sequence.

Winning Millionaire Raffle numbers will be announced after 10 p.m. on March 19 at www.palottery.com. Players should also check their tickets using scanners found at Lottery retailers.

For the convenience of players who enjoy pooling their ticket purchases with friends, Millionaire Raffle Pool Play forms are available on www.palottery.com whenever the game is on sale.

First launched in 2005, Millionaire Raffle was originally offered twice a year but is now conducted four times annually. It was last drawn on January 2.
