– Pennsylvania Lottery instant game players across the state won more than $167.8 million during February, based on prize claims received.
Last month’s top instant winners included two winners of $3 million and four winners of $1 million. Other large instant wins included:
- Seven prizes of $300,000;
- Three $250,000 prizes;
- Two $150,000 prizes;
- Two $125,000 prizes; and
- Thirteen $100,000 prizes.
Winner lists for all games are posted monthly at palottery.com. Click “Winners”, then “Instant Games Winners”. The instant games winner lists include all winners of $1,000 or more, although many prizes below that threshold were won.
To review the rules, prizes remaining and specific chances of winning for each game, visit palottery.com. The overall chances of winning any prize vary by game and are printed on the back of each instant ticket. Overall chances are expressed across all tickets produced in a game and not by tickets sold per pack.
The chances of winning are not influenced by where a ticket is sold. Instant games are distributed at random, meaning the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold.
The Pennsylvania Lottery remains the only state lottery to direct all proceeds to programs
that benefit older residents. Since ticket sales began in 1972, it has contributed nearly $27 billion to fund property tax and rent rebates, transportation, care services, prescription assistance, and local services including senior centers and meals.
