– A gas station in Allegheny County and beer distributor in Chester County each sold a Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® with Power Play® ticket worth $100,000 for the Saturday, August 24 drawing.
The tickets matched four of the five white balls drawn, 05-12-20-21-47, and the red Powerball 01, to win $100,000, less applicable withholding. Without the $1 Power Play option, the tickets would have been worth $50,000. The Power Play multiplier drawn was two.
On the Go Market, 2873 W. Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, and Goshen Beverage Center, 102 Turner Lane, West Chester, each earn $500 bonuses for selling the winning tickets.
Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back of the ticket and contact the nearest Lottery office
More than 18,000 other PA Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 5,000 tickets purchased with Power Play. Players should check every ticket, every time.
The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $60 million, or $42.3 million cash, for the next drawing on Wednesday, August 28. Visit palottery.com to learn how to play Powerball
