Middletown, PA – An Erie County convenience store sold a winning Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions® with Megaplier® ticket worth $4 million for the Tuesday, January 1, drawing.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 34-44-57-62-70, but not the yellow Mega Ball 14, to win $4 million, less applicable withholding. It was sold with the $1 Megaplier option, which boosted the prize to $4 million instead of $1 million because the multiplier drawn was four.

GetGo, 6400 Peach St., Erie, earns a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

A single ticket sold in New York for the Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday matched all five white balls drawn and the Mega Ball to win a jackpot with an estimated $437 million annuity value ($261.8 million cash). The jackpot is the eighth largest in Mega Millions history.

More than 92,900 other PA Lottery Mega Millions tickets won prizes of various amounts in the Tuesday drawing, including 17,661 tickets purchased with Megaplier that won prizes multiplied by four. Players should check every ticket, every time.

Winners can be identified only after prizes are claimed and tickets validated. The ticket holder should sign the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office. Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions prizes expire one year from the drawing date.
