Middletown, PA – A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Allegheny County sold a Powerball® with Power Play® ticket worth $100,000 for the Saturday, May 4, drawing.  
 
The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 06-16-23-30-61, and the red Powerball 02, to win the prize, less applicable withholding. Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $50,000. The multiplier drawn was two.
 
Giant Eagle Supermarket, 51 Walsh Road, Crafton, earns a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
 
Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Prizes must be claimed and winning tickets validated before winners can be identified. The Lottery encourages the holder of the winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office.
 
More than 31,000 other Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including 8,206 tickets purchased with Power Play that won prizes multiplied by two. Players should check every ticket, every time.
