Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® Ticket Worth $1 Million Sold in Lawrence County

Middletown, PA – A Lawrence County Lottery retailer sold a Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® ticket worth $1 million for the Wednesday, May 20 drawing.
The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 18-34-40-42-50, but not the red Powerball 9, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.
Last Mint Mart, 511 Montgomery Ave., New Castle, earns a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back of the ticket and contact the nearest Lottery office or visit to learn how to claim the prize.
More than 17,900 other PA Lottery Powerball® tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 5,600 tickets purchased with Power Play®. Players should check every ticket, every time.
The Powerball® jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $104 million, or $84 million cash, for the next drawing on Saturday, May 23. Visit to learn how to play Powerball.
