Over $1 BILLION for Older Pennsylvanians

Thanks to your support, for the ninth consecutive year the Pennsylvania Lottery generated more than $1 billion to benefit older Pennsylvanians last fiscal year! Lottery proceeds support a range of programs including prescription help, transportation, property tax and rent rebates, and care services.

During Pennsylvania’s fiscal year 2019-20, older adults enrolled in the PACE and PACENET prescription assistance programs received more than 4.85 million prescriptions – nearly 13,300 every day. Lottery funds also helped provide 9.3 million meals served at senior centers and delivered to homes – more than 25,400 meals every day, and provided for more than 27.5 million free transit rides and 2.6 million reduced-fare shared rides – more than 82,000 rides every day. In addition, Lottery revenue helped support more than an estimated *$242.3 million in property tax relief for 508,238 households across Pennsylvania.*
