The ticket matched five of the five Double Play® balls drawn, 12-23-30-42-62, but not the Double Play® Powerball® number 21, to win $500,000, less applicable withholding.
 
EZ Smoke Plus, 1542 Pratt St., Philadelphia, earns a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
 
The Pennsylvania Lottery introduced the Double Play® feature when it launched a third weekly drawing on Mondays in August 2021. Drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
 
Double Play® is an optional feature that, for an additional $1 per play, gives players another chance to win with their Powerball® numbers in a separate drawing with a top cash prize of $10 million. The Double Play® drawing is held after every Powerball® drawing.
 
Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed. More than 114,900 other PA Lottery Powerball® tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 24,200 tickets purchased with Power Play® and more than 9,900 tickets purchased with Double Play®. Players should check every ticket, every time.
 
The Powerball® jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $650 million, or $328.3 million cash, for the next drawing tonight, July 10.
