Cash 5 Jackpot of $1 Million Split in Lackawanna and Lehigh Counties

Middletown, PA – Two winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 tickets sold in Lackawanna and Lehigh counties split a $1 million jackpot from the Wednesday, September 20, drawing.

Both tickets matched all five balls drawn, 03-13-14-33-41, to each win $500,000, less applicable tax withholding.

The selling locations, Convenient Food Mart, 931 Main St., Simpson, and Redner’s Warehouse Market, 2323 Lehigh St., Allentown, will each receive a $500 bonus.

Winners can be identified only after the prizes are claimed and the tickets validated. Cash 5 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

Anyone holding a jackpot-winning Cash 5 ticket should promptly sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office.

More than 67,000 other Cash 5 tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing. Players should check every ticket, every time. Lower-tier prizes may be claimed at Lottery retailers.

In the 2015-16 fiscal year, the Lottery awarded more than $62.9 million in prizes and contributed more than $28.4 million to senior benefit programs in Lackawanna County. In addition to awarding more than $58.2 million in prizes to winners in Lehigh County, the Pennsylvania Lottery contributed more than $27.5 million to programs serving the county’s older residents.
