How to Claim

After winning the lottery the first step is completing the back of your ticket, including your name, address, phone number and signature. Remember, each lottery ticket is a bearer document, meaning it is legally owned by whomever possesses it, at least until it is signed.

How to Play Powerball

Visit your PA Lottery retailer and pick up a Powerball playslip or Buy Now Online! Each game is just $2. For an additional dollar, you can select the Power Play® add-on. For just another dollar you can select the Double Play add-on. You can purchase up to 20 drawings in advance. Subscriptions available online.

Play up to five panels on your Powerball playslip. On each game panel, select five numbers from 1 to 69 in the top grid, and select one number from 1 to 26 in the bottom grid – that’s your Powerball number! Or, select the quick pick option to have your numbers randomly selected by the computer.

Look for PA Lottery results: You can check Powerball results by watching the Powerball drawing on TV and subscribing to Lottery RSS feeds. Double Play is drawn after 11:30 p.m. Watch Double Play here. You can also visit the Lottery VIP Players Club to sign up for emails and text messages to receive winning Lottery number alerts for Powerball and other PA Lottery games.
